Brian Bowden, IPPN Board Member

Brian was appointed to the Board of IPPN in March 2024 as an Independent Director, with experience as a senior HR leader and advisor. Brian was Chief People Officer with Aer Lingus from 2015 to 2023. In this role he led the Human Resource function for the 5,000 people working in the airline with responsibility for all elements of people strategy and practice. Brian has also held senior HR, Governance and Planning Roles in Aer Lingus and elsewhere.
Brian is also currently serving on the Board of Bus Eireann, where he is Chairperson of the Remuneration & People Committee and a member of both the Audit & Risk, and Commercial & Innovation Committees.
He holds a MBS in Human Resources Strategy from DCU, a MA in History from UCD, and is currently undertaking a Diploma in Corporate Governance with the Corporate Governance Institute.
