Suzanne taught Religious Education and English in a voluntary secondary school before joining the Inspectorate in 2002. Suzanne has been Assistant Chief Inspector since 2011, where she heads the Evaluation Support and Research Unit. Her role involves the development of inspection models, the provision of supports for inspection; the publication of reports on quality and standards; and Inspectorate involvement in research and development. Suzanne holds a Doctorate in Education on the subject of ‘Whole-School Evaluation in Irish Post-Primary Schools from the perspectives of principals, teachers, parents and students’.
