National Alliance for Primary Education - Partners Call for Dialogue
Press Release Issued Monday November 3rd
The National Alliance for Primary Education Welcomes the Ministers Commitment through the Government Sponsored Motion Passed on the 30th October 2008 to "work constructively with the Partners".
At the Joint press conference held by the National Alliance for Primary Education on the 28th of October the Alliance called for:
"...the Minister (of Education) ... (to) enter into dialogue with all the Education Partners about where savings and efficiencies can be made."
Today the Alliance welcomes the Ministers commitment through the Government motion passed on the 30th October
"...to work constructively with the partners to build on past achievements and improve educational outcomes for all our students"
In response to this Motion, the National Alliance for Primary Education accepts this as a genuine offer by the Government to work collaboratively with the Alliance to minimise the impact of the recent Budget on children in Primary Schools..
The National Alliance for Primary Education today calls upon Minister Batt O'Keefe and his Officials to urgently engage with all the Primary Education Partners to ensure that the well being of our society and the future prosperity of the country are secured.
