Given that the staffing schedule didn't change for the 2012/13 school year, the enrolment threshold of 178 pupils for Administrative Principals will remain the same. The full details on the reforms that the DES announced about eligibility for Administrative Principal will be published in January as part of the Department's circular on staffing arrangements in primary schools. The DES intends to publish one circular covering all aspects of the staffing arrangements in primary schools.
