‘Local Principals’ Support Groups, why I’m a believer’
‘For the first ten or fifteen minutes there’s an absolute buzz of conversation...over the course of that fifteen minutes, the pace of the conversation slows down and we move on to discussion...to debrief and relax and we can do that because we are with colleagues, who understand without explanation what being a school principal demands.’
In this short film, Catríona O’Reilly, Principal of Our Lady of Good Counsel School in Ferrybank, Waterford, talks about the many reasons why meeting colleagues at a Local Principals’ Support Group has become an essential part of her working month. Take five minutes to watch Catríona’s film here.
