Power-Cut
IPPN Support Office will be effectively closed tomorrow Wednesday 11th May following notification by the ESB that due to upgrading of the service, power in the Glounthaune area will be cut-off. No, this is not an exercise in empathy with all the schools around the country that get similar short notice of power-cuts. Unfortunately Rule 60 does not apply to us and yes, we will be making up the day!If you have an urgent need for Principal Advice, a limited telephone service will be available between 9.00am and 4.30pm or by email to info@ippn.ie
By popular demand after our Principals’ Conference in January, Dr Pasi Sahlberg has agreed to address our Deputy Principals’ Conference which takes place in Citywest Hotel – 19th -20th May. The DES has approved one day substitute cover (Friday 20th May for Deputy Principals). Principals may attend if accompanied by their Deputy Principal.
Revamping www.ippn.ie
During the summer months, ippn.ie will undergo redesign to improve its usability. Thank you to all those who contributed their ideas to this project. In the meantime, due to difficulties with the log-in process, it will no longer be necessary to ‘jump that hurdle’ to access resources etc. The new site will address access issues differently.
