Planning Prompts
During the course of the recent IPPN Conference, it was very apparent that networking and supporting each other formed a huge part of the whole experience. I would advise any of you, who are not already members of Support Groups at local level, to consider joining such a group. During my years as Principal, I found that my Support Group was the most empowering and important facet of my role as Principal. There is nothing as good as peer support. Read more

Are you looking for a substitute teacher? Do you use TextaSub?
TextaSub is an online service, provided by IPPN, that enables schools to send free text alerts to primary-qualified teachers who are available for subbing work in a relevant county. Teachers are required to supply a valid Teaching Council number in order to register for TextaSub. All Subs are required to renew their subscription if they are available for work every 7 days.
There are currently 286 subs registered through TextaSub. There are between 1 and 58 subscriptions in all 26 counties.
