Good Morning All,
When considering the school policy on EPV days, it may also be opportune to look on existing policies on Career Breaks and Job Sharing to ensure that they still meet the needs of the school. Any new policies or indeed any changes to existing policies should be brought to the BOM for ratification. The information as it relates to members of the school community will then need to be clearly communicated.

EPV days
Do you have a school policy on EPV days? Is there a system for requesting EPV days? How many staff members can be absent on EPV days at any given time? It is good to establish a formal system for requesting EPV days and adhere to it. Have all staff members furnished you with their course certificates for school records?
Teachers Planning
Have you established a system for collecting /storing monthly reports? It is advisable to have a date /time each month when you expect teachers to furnish you with copies of their Cuntasaí. Do not deviate from this arrangement. Are staff members happy to continue with the present format for recording? If not what suggestions do they have for improvement? Agree on format to be adopted as soon as possible. DP may be delegated to correlate suggested improvements to current template if appropriate.
IPPN Membership
Have BOM approved and paid annual subscription to IPPN? This is a legitimate BOM expense and it may be more appropriate to set up a direct debit mandate to ensure that it is paid annually. Discuss this with Chairperson/Treasurer and seek BOM approval.
