A new IPPN Deputy President/President Elect will be elected at our upcoming National Council meeting on 15 June 2019. Current Deputy President/President Elect, Damian White, Killeigh NS, Co Offaly, will take up the role of IPPN President on 1 September 2019. If you believe you know a qualified IPPN member either a current or past member of the Board of Directors or National Council, who would be suitable for nomination, then please refer them to the ‘Election Information Sheet’ and ‘Nomination Form’.

The appropriate completed nomination form must be returned to IPPN by email only to info@ippn.ie before 12.00 noon on Friday, 17 May 2019. A member can make one nomination only and the nominee must have agreed to allow their name go forward for consideration for election. On receipt of nominations, IPPN’s Governance & Nominations Advisory Group will consider nominees with respect to the identified requirements of the role per the Election Information Sheet.

The Board of Directors will consider the recommendations of the Governance & Nominations Advisory Group and will ratify nominees as it sees fit. If there are more than two eligible nominees, a list of eligible nominees with the details presented in their nomination form, will be circulated to IPPN’s National Council during the week of 27 May 2019. An election will then be held on Saturday, 15 June 2019 at a meeting of the National Council.
