Equal Participation Model

The Children’s Rights Alliance are developing a new Equal Participation Model on behalf of Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth. It aims to promote equal participation and access for all children to early learning, care and school aged childcare services.
The Children’s Rights Alliance are hosting consultations on behalf of the Department to collect the views of parents. In particular, they are seeking to include the views of parents who are living in disadvantage, migrant and refugee parents, one-parent families, and parents from Traveller and Roma communities. They are requesting schools support to identify parents/families who would be interested and willing to participate in these consultations.
Parent consultations will be hosted online on:
- Consultation 1: 5 April, 9.30 - 10.30am
- Consultation 2: 6 April, 9.30 - 10.30am
- Consultation 3: 13 April, 9.30 - 10.30am
