INTO Concerned about Unemployed Teachers [INTO.ie]

The INTO is gravely concerned about reports of high numbers of qualified primary teachers seeking employment as a result of government cutbacks and increases in class sizes.

The INTO is currently compiling comprehensive information on this issue and intends to hold a series of regional meetings for substitute and unemployed teachers in early October.
