School grant system creates digital divide [Independent]

BROTHERS and sisters in two schools in inner city Dublin have found themselves separated by the digital divide.
The schools are only five metres apart, but a new technology gap has opened up. Both are designated as disadvantaged, but one was selected for a €17,156 grant for computers -- and the other got nothing.
