Minister O'Keeffe opens €1m two-classroom school in Wexford [education.ie]

The Minister for Education and Science, Batt O'Keeffe TD, today opened a new €1 million two-classroom national school in Ballyoughter, Co Wexford.
The school, which opened in September with 33 pupils, replaces the old one which was 120 years old.
The Department sanctioned a grant of almost €1 million under the Small Schools Scheme to build the new school which has two classrooms, resource room, staff room, administration office and storage space.
Two basketball courts and a large green area are now in place, too.
