We've turned the corner. Weathered the tempest. Clawed our way out of the abyss. Found the brakes on the runaway bobsleigh. Like Pam Ewing waking up to find Bobby in the shower, the Government appears to be taken by the notion that the whole economic car-crash was all a bad dream.
