THE storm clouds were gathering over Galway Bay yesterday afternoon as the rain lashed down and angry waves pounded the seafront at Salthill.
And inside the Salthill Hotel, angry primary teachers were gathering for the first of the week's conferences. The INTO will be the first to welcome the new Education Minister Mary Coughlan when she arrives this morning with her new schoolbag.
But the question is will she receive a gold star from the 750 delegates at the conference, or will she instantly be branded a cailin dana and sent straight to sit on the naughty step?
