Tánaiste raises Green Flag at Acres National School and presents the Dan and Mary Boyle Awards [education.ie]

The Tánaiste and Minister for Education and Skills, Mary Coughlan TD, today raised the Green Flag at Acres National School, Burtonport, Co. Donegal.
While at the school the Tánaiste also presented the Dan and Mary Boyle Awards to 24 children.
These awards are in recognition of the three most improved children in each class who receive a prize and certificate to mark their achievement.
The Dan and Mary Boyle fund was set up by Mrs Mae Berardi in honour of her late parents.
Mrs Berardi who is a past pupil of Acres National School was very appreciative of the education she received while attending the school.
Acres National School currently has an enrolment of 85 pupils.
