The Irish Primary Principals’ Network (IPPN) is an independent not-for-profit voluntary association established in 2000 as the professional body for leaders of Irish Primary Schools. IPPN represents the professional interests of the principals and deputy principals of 3,300 primary schools in the Republic of Ireland.
IPPN is a forward thinking association with a strong leadership ethos. Engaging in thought-leadership, IPPN has a clear vision of its role in improving the quality of primary education. It aims to lead innovative thinking and best education practice through action research and evidence-based policy formation. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Head of Advocacy & Communications will manage all aspects of communication and will act as a spokesperson for IPPN, promoting its vision and building support for its programmes and initiatives. Suitable candidates will have a successful record as a communications professional; built within the public sphere and developed in such roles as Senior Political Advisers/Programme Managers, Public Relations/Communications
