Conor Cusack
Conor hails from the town of Cloyne in County Cork where he continues to play hurling with his local club. He also played at the elite level of Gaelic Games in Ireland, representing his county of Cork in Senior Hurling. He currently works with the Gaelic Players Association as a ‘Player Engagement Officer’. Back in 2013, Conor wrote a blog about his experiences with his emotional wellbeing as a younger man which has now been viewed by over 5 million people. A regular contributor on national TV, radio and the written press, Conor travels around Ireland, Europe and America in his quest to end the stigma and silence that has surrounded people’s emotional wellbeing experiences and challenging individuals, communities, organisations and Governments to recognise the immense power they possess to transform their environments and cultures that can promote the personal and social wellbeing of its members.
