Principals are once again finding themselves in a difficult and stressful situation in the third term as they try to deal with recruitment.Attached is the latest update from the DES in relation to Redeployment Panels. There is still much uncertainty over what will happen when a diocesan panel clears. The DES yesterday told a number of teachers, who will qualify for the Supplementary Panel, that these will not be published until all main redeployment panels are cleared. This new update seems to say that schools who fully co-operate with the redeployment process may be given priority to commence further recruitment?
Further updates will follow on June 3rd  with decisions on June 10th in relation to other methods of appointment.

In relation to the allocation of resource teaching hours based on the applications received, decisions will be made on the 31st May. The roll-over of posts for last year has simplified matters for some schools, and created major headaches for many other schools, particularly in relation to part-time hours.

You can advertise either your surplus hours or the hours you require on this facility.
