Existing Accounts:

Membership Renewal 2022/2023
If membership has not already been renewed, this is a reminder for your Board of Management to renew IPPN membership for the 2022/2023 school year by Tuesday, 3 January 2022. After this date, a number of key supports and services will no longer be available to the principal and deputy principal.

Principals’ Conference 2022
IPPN’s Annual Principals’ Conference & Education Expo 2022 took place in INEC Gleneagle, Killarney on Wednesday, November 16 to Friday November 1. Approximately 1,000 members and 150 guests attended the event, with more than 110 exhibitors showcasing their products and services in the 2022 Education Expo.

Schools & Cost of Living
The Minister for Education has announced an additional capitation payment, approximately 40 per cent increase in current capitation rate payments for this academic year. This once-off payment will be paid to schools before the end of the current school term.

Action Plan on Bullying
Cineáltas: Action Plan on Bullying has been published by the DE. This landmark new Action Plan is dedicated to the prevention and addressing of bullying, cyber bullying, racism, gender identity bullying or sexual harassment in schools. Details of the 4 key principles and a copy of the plan can be accessed HERE

EPSEN Review Image
Minister of State for Special Education and Inclusion, Josepha Madigan announced public consultation as part of the review process of the EPSEN Act. The consultation period will continue until spring 2023. Ongoing updates will be posted on gov.ie/epsenreview. Members will be surveyed and the findings used to influence IPPN’s submission to the review group.
