Resources

The Resources menu is where you will find sample policies, plans, curricular resources, template forms. letters and other 'resources'. Each of these has been submitted for inclusion on ippn.ie by a member principal. They are designed to be used as a starting point for schools wishing to create or update a similar resource in their school. If you cannot find a resource on ippn.ie, please let us know and we will endeavour to find a suitable example and place it on the website.

Whilst care has been taken in the production of these materials, no responsibility is taken by IPPN or its authors for any errors or omissions.

Supports

IPPN provides a range of supports and services to school leaders who are members. The Supports menu is where you will find information about each of the supports and services offered by IPPN. Certain elements of the menu (mailing list management, Leadership+ and E-scéals) are restricted to IPPN members.

Advocacy

IPPN advocates on behalf of members in relation to the leadership role of the principal and the deputy principal and all aspects of school leadership and management. Primarily, this work is done with the Department of Education & Skills, education agencies, Education Partners including management bodies, the union, the National Parents' Council and the Teaching Council, as well as other stakeholders.

The Advocacy menu is where you will find IPPN's position papers; submissions to the Department of Education & Skills and other bodies; press releases; publications and useful links to external agencies, principals' associations, representative bodies and the like. The Position Papers webpage is restricted to current IPPN members.

CPD & Events

Each year, IPPN hosts a Principals’ and a Deputy Principals’ Conference as well as arranging other regional professional development events as required. These offer school leaders the opportunity to hear fresh thinking from national and international figures in education, participate in stimulating workshops and network with colleagues.
