2021 Annual Principals' Conference

This year IPPN will host our 21st Annual Principals’ Conference on Friday May 7th. It is a one-day virtual event and will take place on a newly-designed event platform. Our speakers will explore the theme of Leadership for an Imperfect World and will look at what school leaders can do to support their own physical and mental health, rebuilding teams and promoting a positive school culture after successive lockdowns, what leaders can take from the past year into the future, what IPPN is doing in relation to sustainable leadership, what principals can expect over the next year or so in relation to primary education and special educational needs, leading with positivity in the face of overwhelming stress, and much more.
The seminars will provide key information and provoke thinking on a range of topics relating to school leadership and management.
You to be able to network (virtually) with your peers and to meet the exhibitors and sponsors online.
All keynotes & seminars will be recorded and will be available on the online platform a week after the event, enabling registered attendees to view any aspect they missed on the day and to share the content with their deputy principal.

Seminars
There will be two seminar session and you will have a choice of 8 seminar topics. All seminars will be recorded and available on the platform to registered attendees five working days after the event. The topics covered during these seminars will be: Dignity at Work, Essential Law for the school leader, Supporting & Empowering children, Management of SEN in Schools, Communications, Learning & Looking forward from Covid19, Health & Exercise and Self Sustainment. Fee
The event fee is €130 per school - a charge of €5 applies to PayPal payments to cover administrative costs.

Webinar: Underperformance of Primary School Staff

IPPN in association with Mason Hayes & Curran, conducted a survey of members in relation to the challenges of managing school staff. These challenges informed the basis of a webinar presented by Mason Hayes & Curran with commentary from IPPN.

Conference Fee: the fee for event is €175 (plus €3.70 online charge – Paypal Fee) per attendee.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be sent by email only to jennifer.mccarthy@ippn.ie up to Friday, January 20th . Cancellations will incur a fee. Refunds cannot be made after this date under any circumstances unfortunately.
2019 Deputy Principals' Conference

IPPNs’ Deputy Principals Conference 2019 will have a number of keynote speakers who will help you engage in ways, that you as a Deputy Principal and school leader view ‘sustainability’ in the context of both leadership, and education.
This year we have changed the format – gone is the need to select your preferred seminar. All attendees will be able to avail of all seminar sessions.
