IPPN in partnership with the Association of Teachers’/Education Centres in Ireland (ATECI) provided a series of regional briefing seminars on The Children First Act. The 1hr 30 mins seminars will be facilitated by David Ruddy, Maria Doyle and Donal Kerins.

The seminars outlined the obligations that apply to schools now that the act has been implemented. They also provided essential information for schools around Risk Assessment and the Child Safeguarding Statement.

This is an important CPD initiative on the topic of Child Protection.  It represents a significant partnership opportunity for IPPN and Education Centres to facilitate a major CPD Project to support schools and Principals.
