You will also have an opportunity to network with peers, engage in hands-on learning, and come together as a network to celebrate 25 Years of IPPN.

These workshops start at 4pm (with refreshments from 3.30pm) and will take place in each county – September and October meetings will start at 3.30pm as they will also comprise the City/County Network AGM.

- Leadership Effectiveness Reflection Tool
- P-I-E-W – Capacity Planning Framework
- Expanding the Support Group Network.
Páiric Clerkin, IPPN CEO and Louise Tobin, IPPN President will visit each county to deliver this session.
Aim
The aim of the session is to assist you in your role as school leader:
- to reflect on the practice of leadership in your school and how the Leadership Reflection Tool can help
- to consider how the Guide to the Leadership of Teaching and Learning can support your leadership team
- to manage capacity and workload
- to control the number of new initiatives or priorities taken on in any given year.
Support Groups
More than 700 principals and deputy principals have expressed an interest in joining a support group. The expansion of our Support Group network is a key objective of our visits to each county.

Empowering Effective Teaching & Learning
Join us for the IPPN Deputy Principals' Conference 2025 at the Galway Bay Hotel as we mark a special milestone: 25 years of empowering and supporting our members. This conference will not only focus on Empowering Effective Teaching & Learning but will also celebrate the incredible community we’ve built together over the past quarter-century.
Be a part of the first of many celebrations at the Deputy Principals' Conference on Thursday, February 13th, and Friday, February 14th, as we honour 25 years of dedicated service!

Event Fee
A charge of €175 per person is applicable (plus €3.70 PayPal administrative fee).
Fee includes event registration, CPD, refreshments: dinner on Thursday evening and lunch on Friday. Substitute cover is not available for this event. Accommodation is not included in the fee.
Expo
An Education Expo will run parallel to the refreshment/dining area for your convenience. This is an excellent opportunity to visit a wide range of school suppliers at the event.
